As many educators begin to prepare for a new school year (or have already started!), they will consider how to effectively design the learning space with students in mind.
I would like to share one reminder as you design your classroom or school this year.
Be sure to develop a community space.
Find or create a space where your community can gather to share, collaborate, communicate, reflect, celebrate and reenergize.
While it does not need to be fancy or expensive, remember to design your space with your community goals in mind.
How will you create and connect the community in your classroom or school?
Where will that community do their most important work?
