The 15 Minute Thought Session

  1. Grab a paper and pencil.
  2. Set a timer for 15 minutes. Start the clock!
  3. Write down any thoughts that pop into your mind. (Drawings count too.)
  4. Keep going for 15 minutes.
  5. More thoughts, more writing. Everything that you think goes down on the paper.
  6. Write until the timer runs out.
  7. Once you’ve finished writing for 15 minutes, take a few minutes to reflect on what you’ve written (or drawn). Make connections. Add notes or symbols to highlight a thought or idea. Connect thoughts with lines.
  8. Repeat each day to spark your creativity.
  9. Don’t lock up those thoughts.
  10. Set them free. Get them out on paper.
