It’s not a race.
What we are learning right now is that there is a lot more that is important compared to covering standards, taking tests, and administering curriculum.
Our students have the opportunity to rest and relax. To learn about things that they are interested in. To go at their own pace. To do different things. Non-academic things. To go outside for a walk just because they can.
It’s not a race.
It never should have been a race.
I hope that more people realize this.
Especially now.
