How should we keep score in education?
What do we want to keep track of?
Is it the number of students who passed the test?
Is it the number of students on the honor roll?
How about the number of kids graduating?
Nope.
Today, on their last day of school, I’ll count the students who walk out of our building as better people.
That’s how I’m keeping score.
