High Expectations, High Support

The phrase “high expectations” is often heard in  discussions surrounding education. It is important to know that we hold all students to high expectations. It is also important, however, that we provide high support in meeting those expectations.

Think of the variety of supports that you put in place as a “bridge” to help students find their success in the classroom. Know that the supports may be different for each student, but if you can model a variety of paths to success, then you can ensure that each learner meets the expectations set forth for everyone.
