How do we get more of these things into our classrooms?
I was recently rereading Austin Kleon’s book Show Your Work about creativity. In the book, he argues that we should be focusing more on process rather than product.
While I agree wholeheartedly, it can be very difficult to allow time for students to go through their process while also documenting it. Some students move slower than others. Some move faster. Some drop a project and move on to the next thing.
So today I pose a simple question:
How do we allow for more of these things in our classrooms?
