Day 20.
What have I learned so far?
Everyone needs to be cared for right now.
Students. Teachers. Parents. Aunts. Uncles. Neighbors.
There are a lot of families who are currently trying to figure it out.
And that’s ok.
Because as educators, we are also trying to figure it out.
No one has the perfect answer. Because if they did, we would all be following that example.
Kids need care right now. So do adults.
We are all humans. And we all have emotions regarding what is happening in our world.
Academics will have to come second.
Most importantly, we need to take care of each other first.
Take care.
Of yourself.
And others.
