There are moments when you need to walk ahead of everyone else, forging the path, leading by example, expanding the vision, and showing the way.
At times, you may need to lag behind everyone, helping to support those who are slowing down, shouting encouragement, and making sure that no one is left behind.
Most of the time, you will want to stand beside everyone else, serving others, and sharing in the path forward in order to ensure that everyone can contribute to the discussion and the work.
Whether you are walking ahead or behind or beside, walk with the others so they may find exactly what they need from a leader.
