This morning, I will take part in my sixteenth opening day. While my role has changed slightly since that first opening day, I am still the lucky one.
Getting to see those smiling faces greeting me.
Ready to begin anew…
To learn.
To dream.
To imagine.
To play.
To struggle.
To fail.
To make mistakes.
To learn from those mistakes.
To grow.
To give.
To think.
To make.
To lead.
Somehow, I’m the lucky one.
And I’m thankful for the opportunity to do it again.
