Creating versus Creativity

 

Just because a student creates a product doesn’t mean they are exhibiting or developing or practicing creativity. For instance, if a student merely follows the directions and creates a predictable, predetermined product, that’s not developing creativity. That’s merely following directions. Following directions, is one of the least creative practices a student can practice.
