Being human means being biased.
And as we prepare to return to our students, we need to carefully contemplate our own biases
Because of the different experiences that each of us bring to the table, we often make snap judgments about students, usually without having necessary background information.
As we enter the year, it’s important for us to inventory those biases so that we don’t jump to those rash judgments.
Let’s understand ourselves better first so that we can better understand our students also.
