We recently introduced a Respect Championship to our students.
The idea was to encourage respectful and kind behavior amongst students as we approached spring break. While students were raring to go just prior to our scheduled spring break, the Championship helped to motivate many of the students. Each week, teachers can award any student with a respect ticket, and the class that earned the most at the end of the week gets to keep the championship belt for the week until the next class is chosen.
We’ve kept the Respect Championship going after spring break, and recognize a class each week that demonstrates respect and kindness throughout the building. It’s been an awesome way to motivate and recognize students!
