We often have the problem in education of not being able to see the forest for the trees.
We often focus on very minute details and forget our larger purpose.
Administrators sometimes struggle with this. So do teachers and parents. Sometimes, it’s even a problem for students too.
In the first few weeks of school, I’ve been struggling to focus on bigger picture items when so many small details need to be addressed.
I try to remind myself each day, as I try to remind everyone today.
Forest first.
