When my daughter was a small child, she would often encourage me to do something by saying, “Go ahead, Daddy, give it a shot.”
I used to love when she said it because 1: it was adorable, and 2: I was proud of the fact that my young child recognized trying your best to accomplish something.
So, today, go ahead and give it a shot. Whatever it is. Give it your best shot.
