Let’s make this year the year.
We’ve been waiting a long time. There are enough of us now to drown out the naysayers. Enough of us that see the path that education should take. This year, we need to be about action.
Changing that which needs to be changed.
Stopping the tired and worthless exercises in futility that still permeate our schools.
Pushing our students to places they didn’t think they could go.
Pushing ourselves to places we didn’t think we could go.
Giving students everything they need.
Giving them opportunities to discover their passions.
Discovering our own passions within the classroom.
Providing experiences that are purposeful and authentic.
Letting students figure out their own path through the learning process.
And figuring out our own path by learning alongside them.
Creating.
Producing.
Discovering.
Solving.
Failing.
Pushing.
Giving.
Understanding.
&
Learning.
Together.
Let’s make this year the year. We’ve waited long enough.
