But what do we know about the School of the Future?
This week, I was fortunate to have watched some of the NOVA special School of the Future on PBS. I had no idea that this show was being produced, and happened to stumble upon it while mindlessly watching television. Below is a short preview of the show.
I hope that other educators have the opportunity to watch the show. If you are anything like me, you will be completely fascinated by the content of the show. While watching, I began to ask questions:
What should the School of the Future look and feel like?
How can we start to create the School of the Future now?
How can we move past traditional school models to better improve learning for students?

Hey Rich! WOW! Thank you for sharing this! I had heard of the show but have not watched it. I feel that I work at a school of the future. I am a cyber educator and I teach learners throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Regardless of where they live or what area of the state, I reach them and we learn together. It’s really quite amazing! We also meet up throughout the year, face-to-face, at our learning centers, to work on STEAM projects. It really has changed my idea of school and learning.
